Year 9 Gothic Project
Year 9 have been looking at Gothic Literature for inspiration for their Key Stage 3 Exhibition. They have been refining their drawing techniques by looking at many different artists such as Paula Rego, Kiki Smith, Jenny Holzer, John Stezaker and Melinda Gibson. Here are some examples of students work based on the following artists; Leonardo Da Vinci, George Seurat, Escher, Sam Winston and Henry Moore.

Year 7 Drawing Club
Year 7 were asked by year 12 to draw from their feet up. This proved quite a challenge that required a lot of looking and drawing you can SEE rather than what you THINK should be there.

Year 7 practice tone and mark making
Yr 7 created some beautiful drawings that boasted their tone and mark making skills based on a drawing based on Kathe Kollwitz's 'Self Portrait'.
